While I am keen to do my part,
To toil day and night,
Nature seems to be saying,
Relax, and start partying.
I study to sharpen my skill,
To create, only by my will,
But nature says,
Slow down, and adopt my ways.
Assigned a role, I am quick to play.
Always with without delay.
But nature smiles,
And chides on my going extra miles.
I sow today,
Care for it all day,
And expect the harvest,
Even before sunset.
But nature stalls,
Its power prevails
And lets it grow,
Without my control.
And now I learn
I can’t always earn,
All I want right away,
Without nature’s way.
I learn the lesson now,
That many never know,
That, waiting stoically,
My turn will come, eventually.
