Sources of electricity: Hydroelectric power generation, Geothermal power generation, Diesel power generation, others.
Principles of transmission and distribution. National Grid Lines.
Electrical Supply: Single Phase and Three Phase supply.
Electrical installation; wiring facilities and circuit diagrams layout;
Electrical wiring systems. Ring main power circuit; radial power circuit.
Lighting design: Lighting installation circuits;
Testing wiring systems.
Fire detection and fighting systems.
Fire protection.
Fire regulations.
Fire protection means of escape, fire regulations, grading, resistance, fire detection and fighting facilities.
