“Whatever scares you, go do it!”

She was quite beautiful and well composed.

I was deeply attracted to her, & wanted to ask her out.

But I was scared. Scared to death that she will say no.

But I asked and she said yes.

And we had a whole day to ourselves, at some caves.

That was in January 2016.

Eight month before, I had tried to do this presentation at National Science Week (by NACOSTI)

This was more scary that asking a girl out.

Remember, fear of public speaking is ranked far ahead of fear of death; it is the scariest act ever.

I almost cancelled it.

But I went ahead, and did what I could.

Three months later, this paper helped me get my 1st Job.

Somehow, they found what I done impressive.

That was in 2015.

Fast forward, fifteen months later.

I was determined to do another scary thing.

On a certain Thursday, I wrote a resignation letter.

This was without much thought, but I was nevertheless determined.

Colleagues really implored that I stop the madness.

But I clicked the send button.

Well, I didn’t leave the place ultimately but sending that letter later formed the basis of what I’m currently doing (teaching)

That was in August 2016.

Fast forward, 2 years later.

I liked her.

So I ask this girl out.

She says yes. We go out.

And I say to myself, “We will see”.

A month later, she says “No”, I need more time”.

And I said, ““We will see”.

I have been scared a lot in the few years I have been around.

Whenever I refuse to take action, nothing changes.

Whenever I take action, life changes, positively.

Whatever scares you, go do it.

Whenever you are faced with a decision,

Ask yourself, “is this scaring me?  “Therefore this is the correct thing to do.”

What is there to lose anyway? Ego?

Ego is the enemy!

Time? Time will pass anyway.
